Your Role:

Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will support crucial HR functions across 12 Total Tool branch locations for over 220 employees. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, onboarding, orientation, training, performance management, policy implementation, payroll and benefit administration. This role requires a hands-on enthusiastic hardworking professional who wants to roll-up their sleeves and help drive our people operations to the next level!

Your Responsibilities

  • Recruiting: Assist with improving our staffing processes so that we recruit, on-board and retain the best employees who are encouraged, rewarded, listened to, challenged, coached and motivated
  • Onboarding: Manages the onboarding process and is responsible for ensuring new hire paperwork is completed accurately and maintained properly. Maintain personnel records and employee files.
  • Orientation: Oversee and support new hire orientation to ensure proper education of our people programs, policies, etc. Monitor new hire feedback to ensure orientations are meaningful and engaging.
  • Benefit Administration: Maintains benefit enrollment between ADP payroll system and the benefit providers. Assists with the open enrollment process.
  • Employee Matters: Addresses employee questions and concerns. Supports and coaches’ managers with employee issues. Administrates regular employee review process and ensures corrective actions and performance improvement plans are being properly documented and maintained.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned (including opportunities with learning & development, performance management, employee engagement surveys, and more).

Your Qualifications:
